Description

This is a three-storey town house, originally likely built in the early 17th century and with a refronting in the early 18th century. The building is now a shop and dwelling. It has a stucco facade with exposed timber-framing and a slate roof. The front has a decorative cornice with brackets at the ends. A shop window was altered in the 19th or early 20th century, featuring a deep fascia, cornice, and bay windows with colonnettes flanking the entrance, which has 20th-century glazed doors. The first floor has a canted bay window with a hipped slate roof and plate glass, horned sash windows with margin lights; the central window has margin lights. A sash window with a sill and horns and margin lights is on the second floor. The interior retains some features from the early 17th century.
