Description

Tower Hill Farmhouse is a late 18th-century brick farmhouse. It features a brick string course and corbel cornice, along with a cement tile hipped roof and brick internal chimneys. The house follows a central staircase plan, with two storeys and an attic containing two dormers, and originally had three windows with gauged brick arches. The central front door has an overlight and moulded architrave, now set within a 20th-century open porch. A late 19th-century canted bay has been added to the left side, and an early 20th-century rectangular bay to the right. The first floor retains two original casements with glazing bars, and other original casements are present on the sides. Inside, the staircase is a simple straight flight with winders, and there are 19th-century fireplaces. A 19th-century addition extends to the rear of the property.
