Description
The Church of St. Peter features a pair of headstones located approximately 12 meters west of the tower. The left headstone dates from 1697, while the right one is from 1695. Both headstones are made of carved and moulded sandstone. Each has a scrolled top adorned with drapery and a central scrolled cartouche. The panels are framed by a moulded eared and shouldered architrave. The left headstone includes an inscription dedicated to Elinor Masters, while the right headstone has an inscription for another member of the Masters family.
