Description

This is a row of terraced houses located at 17-23 Bilton Road, built in the earlier 19th century, before 1849. The houses are constructed of yellow brick with Welsh slate roofs, with concrete pantiles to number 23. They are three storeys high and feature a prominent cornice, along with plain, full-height brick pilasters at the corners and between each house. Each house has a basement. There are eight sash windows with glazing bars, each with a stucco lintel. The entrances consist of four-panelled doors with fanlights, set within recessed porches featuring stucco round arches. Numbers 17 to 35 (odd) and number 57 form a notable group.
