Description

No 27 on Bilton Road is an early 19th-century building, dating from around 1830 to 1840. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a Welsh slated roof with a cornice. The building has two storeys and three sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath stucco lintels. Brick pilasters are present at the corners and to the right of the centre. The left side elevation includes a gable with an arched attic window. The central doorway is framed by a recessed Doric porch and a traceried rectangular fanlight, with flanking brick pilasters reaching up to the eaves level. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 17 to 33 (odd) and No 37.
