Description
This garden feature, attached to the east side of the stable yard's east wall at Arbury Hall, dates from the 18th or 19th century and is likely composed of older fragments. It is made of sandstone ashlar and features a moulded round-arched recess. The large shafts have very large eroded capitals adorned with acanthus leaves, festoons, and lion masks, along with a plain abacus and a section of moulded cornice. The pediment includes a cartouche of arms. This feature is included for its group value.
