Description

This garden feature, located approximately 10 metres northwest of the porte-cochere of Arbury Hall, is likely made from re-used work dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It is constructed of sandstone ashlar and is designed in the Elizabethan style. The feature includes a moulded doorway flanked by paired Roman Doric pilasters, and it has a moulded entablature on both the front and the return sides. The roof is not visible.
