Description

Blyth Bridge, located in the Coleshill civil parish, is a bridge dating from the 17th century that was widened to the north and had its parapets renewed in 1925. The original 17th-century structure is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, while the remainder is made of sandstone ashlar. On the south side, the bridge features three semi-circular arches that span the River Blythe, complete with dripstones and triangular cutwaters, which are topped by square refuges at the level of the parapet. The bridge also has a plain parapet band.
