Description
Blyth Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features a plain-tiled roof with a dentil eaves cornice and flush end stacks. The building has an east-west main range with two service ranges at the rear and stands three storeys tall. The facade is symmetrical with three bays, including a slightly projecting centre bay topped with a pediment that has a dentilled cornice and a blocked lunette window surrounded by gauged brick. The original openings have been replaced with 20th-century three-light wood casements featuring small panes, all set under flat gauged brick arches. There are two steps leading up to the centre doorway, which has a moulded architrave, a six flush panelled door, and a three-light rectangular fanlight above in a square head.
