Description

The Ship Inn is a house that has been converted into an inn, dating from the late 18th century with some minor later alterations. It features painted brickwork and a tiled roof with a decorative eaves course. The building is three storeys high and has a three-window front, with glazing bar sashes that have wedged heads and 20th-century shutters that do not fit properly. The central entrance is highlighted by a pediment and surround, with a rectangular overlight above a six-panel door. There is a large wrought iron sign bracket with a crest positioned over the entrance. To the left, there is a single-storey addition that is set back from the main structure.
