Description
No. 13 Derby Street is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. The lower storey has been remodeled and extended for its current use, with the present shop front dating from the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features plain-tiled roofs.
The exterior consists of three storeys with a five-window range. It has a large projecting shop front from the late 20th century, while above this are 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched brick heads. There is a moulded wood eaves cornice and end wall stacks. The interior has not been inspected. Historically, the building served as the offices of Sugden and Son.
