Description
Rownall Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone some alterations in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed stone, topped with a tiled roof featuring verge parapets. The building has two storeys and a four-window front, which includes a combination of three, two, three, and two-light block mullioned casements, although two of the mullions have been removed. There is a boarded door located at the right-hand end of the facade, and a 20th-century lean-to extension on the right side. The rear and end gables also feature similar windows.
