Description
Ivy House Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone alterations in the mid-19th century and 20th century. It is constructed from coursed dressed and squared stone with a tiled roof and features ridge stacks, including a twin-shafted stack on the left side. The building has a long, low, two-storey front with four windows, all featuring chamfered mullions. The front is divided into two sections under a continuous ridge. The right section has a ridge stack and includes two three-light windows on the first floor above a single four-light window. The larger left section may have been skillfully refaced in the 20th century and contains two three-light windows above two labelled five-light windows. There is also a small single window to the right and a small gabled projecting porch at the right end, which has a segmental head above a boarded door. A double cart door is located beyond the ridge stack on the left.
