Description

The well house to Bagnall Springs is a structure dating from 1811, with a refix in 1891. It is built from large ashlar blocks and features a mono-pitched slab roof. The building has a small rectangular plan that is open on the east side, which is adorned with an elliptical arch supported by scrolled corbelled imposts. Above the arch, there is a recessed panel inscribed with the text: "A.D. PUBLIC WEL S.H.S.H. 1811" and "REFIXED 1891".
