Description
The Church of St Mark, a Chapel of Ease, was built in 1838. It features coursed dressed and squared stone of ashlar quality, with a tiled roof and verge parapets. The structure comprises a tower, nave, and chancel all under one roof, along with a south porch. The tower has three stages separated by string courses, with machiolations beneath a crenellated parapet and lancet windows on each stage. The south door is designed in a Tudor arch style. The nave and chancel consist of four bays set on a plinth, with lancet windows in deep reveals and a Y-tracery window on the east side. A gabled porch at the south-west entrance also features a Tudor arch.
