Description

Ley Fields Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse, originally a single dwelling, which has been divided into two units and altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of rough-faced coursed stone with a blue tile roof and brick stacks located at the left-hand end and on the ridge over the entrances. The two-storey, four-window front is divided into two parts, each with two windows, and entrances are situated between the end bays. The farmhouse features 19th and 20th-century casement windows and mullioned two-light windows, particularly in the centre left bay. A screen, heavily chamfered beam, and an additional two-light mullioned window are present in the mullioned window bay to the rear.
