Description
The spring head cover and basin, dating from the late 18th century, is constructed from stone slabs. It features an arched single-slab stone hood supported by slab side members, with ramped front edges. This structure is set on a troughed basin that is fed by a spring from the rear, although it is now supplied by a pipe. Additionally, there is a 20th-century built-up coursed stone plinth and surround below the basin.
