Description

This is a churchyard cross located approximately 10 yards east of the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist, dating from around 1840. It is made of ashlar stone and features a square plan base with three steps leading up to a pedestal. The pedestal has quatrefoil panels that display the symbols of the Evangelists. The shaft of the cross has chamfered corners and a shield on each face. At the top, there is an elaborate head with canopied panels, which is surmounted by a foliated cross.
