Description

The churchyard wall, gate piers, and gates of the Church of St. Peter were built around 1840. They are made of ashlar stone with herringbone tooling. The wall surrounds the north-west, north-east, and south-east sides of the churchyard, with gate piers located at the south and west corners. There are three Gothic style gate piers at the south corner, two of which have crenellated caps and contain cast iron gates. At the west corner, there are two square section gate piers with moulded caps and cast iron gates. The wall features shaped coping and steps down the hillside to the north-west.
