Description
This churchyard cross, located approximately 20 metres south of the Church of St Mary, dates from the mid to late 19th century and is constructed of ashlar. It features three octagonal steps leading up to a high plinth adorned with triangular-headed arcading, crockets, and pinnacles. The four arches display symbols of the evangelists, and the top is brattished. The tapering shaft has a moulded base with stop-chamfered angles and Tudor flower enrichment. At the top, there is a crucifix set on a moulded base, with a brattished gable above it. The top step has raised lettering in a sunk band that reads: REQUIEM: AETERNA: DONA EIS: DOMINE.
