Description
The wall and attached outbuilding enclosing the north and west sides of the churchyard of the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist is a structure dating from around 1840. It is built of ashlar stone with herringbone tooling and extends approximately 150 yards in length. The coped wall features a small gabled outbuilding that runs north-south, located immediately north of the chancel and accessible from the west via a flight of stone steps. At the eastern end, the wall is finished with a rectangular-shaped pier. This structure is included for its group value.
