Description

The drinking trough, located 4 meters east of Shepherds Cross, is possibly from the early 19th century and is made of stone. It features twin-headed niches constructed from three voussoir blocks with projecting keystones above the trough, although one keystone is now missing. The trough is integrated into a wall whose coping rises to form a pair of corbelled dwarf finials topped with pyramidal cappings, with a crested block positioned between the pinnacles.
