Description
The village cross, located approximately 30 meters north of Bagnall Hall, is possibly from the 16th century and was restored in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is made of stone and features a four-tier stepped base, with the top tier being a solid block. The square shaft rises to about 2.5 meters in height and is chamfered, culminating in a Celtic cross head. The upper parts of the cross are rough-faced and are likely from the restoration, despite being previously listed as original.
