Description

This headstone, located approximately 20 meters west of the Church of St. Lawrence, dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. It features a deeply incut face with an inset egg and dart rim, which is swan-necked at the head leading to a central segmental projection. Flanking a death's-head and hourglass are two angels' heads, positioned above paired semi-circular headed inscriptions that were not fully legible during the resurvey in September 1984.
