Description

Highfield Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed of painted brick and has two storeys. The building features three small-paned casement windows. The ground floor includes modern casements with leaded lights, a modern canted bay window, and on the right-hand side, there is a plain doorcase in a stuccoed surround with a cornice hood and a modern ledged door. The cottage has two brick stacks with cylindrical shafts, plain eaves, and a tiled roof.
