Description

Highfield House is an early 19th century house with later additions, located on Hartwell Lane in Barlaston. It has an irregular plan and is constructed of plastered brick. The house is three storeys high, with three sash windows, each fitted with modern wood shutters. The doorway is sheltered by a modern cornice hood porch supported on Doric columns and includes a modern glazed door. The roof is slate-covered, with projecting eaves. A single-storey modern bay window has been added to the right-hand side, and further additions are present at the rear of the building.
