Description
The Church of St John the Baptist in Barlaston was largely rebuilt between 1886 and 1888 by C Lynam, though it retains an early 16th-century tower. The church is constructed of coursed rubble and has a tile roof. It comprises a nave with a north aisle, a chancel, and a west tower. A vestry was added in 1969. A 15th-century font bowl is set on a later pedestal. The building is included on the list for its architectural interest.
