Description
Sushions Bridge (Number 21) is an accommodation bridge built around 1830-1833, designed by Thomas Telford. The bridge is constructed from partly washed brick and features stone band copings. It has a single elliptical arch that is slightly cambered, with solid parapets and piers. On the south side, there is an oval iron number plate, and two iron rope fenders are present. To the north of the bridge, there is a single wooden stop gate located in a brick recess with stone coping.
