This cottage, formerly occupied by W E Jackson, dates from the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It features a timber frame and brick construction with a tiled roof and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high and has casement windows, presenting a two-window front. There are brick extensions with lean-to roofs at each end. At the time of the survey, the cottage was unoccupied.
