Description

Green Farmhouse, dating from around 1635, features engraved cement that reveals an earlier timber frame on the interior. The building has two storeys plus an attic and includes a gabled bay with one window on the left-hand side, a modern casement, and two sash windows. There are also two late 19th-century canted bay windows and an altered doorway with a stone gabled porch. The chimney has three cylindrical stone shafts, which are partly encased in brick, and the roof is tiled. Inside, the farmhouse showcases much exposed timber-framing and stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
