Description

The Lodge of Standon Hall, built around 1911, is designed in a Tudor style reminiscent of Sandon Hall. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and consists of one storey plus an attic. The south-facing gabled front features a three-light mullioned window situated above a canted bay, with the carved emblem of the Salt family set into the gable. There is a projecting gabled porch supported by buttresses, which includes a pointed arched doorway. The building has sprocket eaves and is topped with stone slates.
