Description
No. 20 Stafford Street is a house dating from around 1770. It is constructed of brick with plaster dressings and features a slate roof with a brick stack at the end. The building stands three storeys high and has a two-window range. Notable architectural details include a cornice above the ground floor, a sill course at the first floor, and a top brick cornice. The entrance is located at the right end and has plain jambs with an overlight above a three-panel door. The ground floor window is adorned with stop-chamfered pilasters and a frieze, featuring an eight-pane horned sash. The upper floors have casement windows with wedge lintels.
