Description
Oulton Old Hall is a building primarily from the 18th century, with its core dating back to the 17th century. It is constructed of red brick and stone and stands three storeys high, plus an attic. The front features seven wooden casement windows and a stone doorcase with a stone Roman Doric portico. The windows generally have old leaded lights. The west and garden elevations include three-light stone mullioned windows, although some of these are partly obscured by 19th-century additions. There is a stone band below the upper storey, which is an 18th-century addition, and the roof is covered with nipped slate. Inside, the building has exposed ceiling beams.
