Description

Grove House is an early 19th-century building located on Longton Road in Oulton. It is constructed of painted brick with a stone plinth and stands two storeys high. The façade features three sash windows with plain lintels. The entrance is highlighted by a moulded stone pilaster doorcase that has a small cornice hood, a rectangular fanlight, and a four-panelled door. The house has projecting wooden eaves with a scalloped design and ornamental bargeboards, and it is covered with slate roofing. Additionally, there is a small-paned cast iron window on the north side.
