Description

The calcining kilns located to the north-east of Ivy Mill are likely from the early 19th century. They consist of two kilns made of brick, which are built into the side of a bank. The kilns are fronted by a brick retaining wall that features two semi-circular headed kiln mouths. A modern open-fronted structure made of brick and concrete covers the entire setup.
