Description
This barn, located approximately 20 yards north-west of Stourton Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tile roof with crow stepped gables. The building has an L-shaped layout, with the main section oriented north-south and a south-east wing running east-west. It is a single-storey barn with a lofted wing. The central entrance has full height barn doors, while the gabled wing to the left includes a segmental-headed loft door and fixed light windows on either side. There are also tiers of air vents to the right of the barn doors.
Inside, the barn has four pegged king-post roof trusses that support two pairs of purlins.
