Description

This is a 17th-century barn located approximately 50 yards north-east of College Farmhouse. It is timber framed with boarded sides and has a plain tile roof. The barn is a three-framed bay structure aligned east-west and faces south. It is one storey high and features a central full height barn door.

Inside, the barn has substantial framing with full height rectangular panels, straight braces, and heavily jowelled corner posts. There are S-shaped tension braces to the truss west of the centre bay. The roof trusses include curved raking struts, two pairs of purlins, and straight wind braces. College Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
