Description

The building is a smithy located approximately 100 metres west of Betley Old Hall, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and features a brick ridge stack. The smithy is one storey high and is aligned north-east to south-west, facing south-east. There are two windows with segmental heads on the right side and a carriage entrance to the left of centre, which also has a segmental head and boarded doors. This structure is included for its group value with nearby historical buildings.
