Description
The building is a former lodge located immediately south of Jasmine Lodge, dating from the early 19th century with 20th-century alterations. It features plastered walls and a pyramidal felted roof with a central brick stack. The lodge has a square plan and is one storey high, characterized by a modillioned eaves cornice and a blocking course. On the front, there are a pair of 20th-century casement windows flanking a central half-glazed door. To the right, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension that is not of special interest. The left (north) side has a square bay window set within a central recess, which is flanked by a pair of semi-circular-headed niches. This lodge pairs with Jasmine Lodge and together they flank the drive that once led to the now-demolished Clough Hall.
