Description
Jasmine Lodge is an early 19th-century lodge located on Newcastle Road in Kidsgrove. It features plastered walls and a pyramidal felted roof with a central plastered stack. The building has a square plan and is one storey high, showcasing a modillioned eaves cornice and a blocking course. The central façade includes a 4-pane sash window flanked by columns within a central recess, which is also flanked by a pair of semi-circular-headed niches. To the left, there is a 20th-century bungalow extension that is not of special interest. The right side (south) is similar but has a square bay window in the central recess. Jasmine Lodge is part of a pair with the former lodge to the south, and together they flank the drive that led to the now-demolished Clough Hall.
