Description
This is a boat house located approximately 250 meters east of Madeley Manor, likely built around 1890. It features red brick construction on a sandstone and brick plinth, with planted timbers on the long sides. The roof is plain tiled and includes fishscale bands, with a brick ridge stack positioned on the north slope. The building is one storey high and provides access for boats. Each side has six blind round-headed arches, with two 20th-century casement windows inserted above on the south side. Access is provided from the bank via a wooden bridge, which is not included in the listing, and there is a round-headed entrance. The boat access on the east side has been altered and features a twin flat-headed arch under a concrete lintel.
