Description
Hales Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof with end stacks and a lateral stack behind the ridge. The building has three storeys and a dentilled eaves cornice. The front has four windows, all of which are mid-19th century casements with three lights, except for those above the doorway, which have two lights and segmental heads. The entrance is located in the second bay from the left and includes a pilastered doorcase with an open pediment, a six-panel door, and a fanlight. There are two-storey early 20th-century additions at right angles to the rear.
