Description
Brampton Lodge is a house built around 1836, featuring stucco over brick with a stressed ground floor and lined out above, complemented by stone dressings and a hipped slate roof. The south elevation showcases a central door in a moulded case, flanked by sash windows with moulded architraves, all beneath a continuous stone cornice and set behind a renewed lean-to porch. To the left, there is a late 19th-century bay that projects slightly. The entrance front faces east and consists of three bays that are slightly recessed behind the southern range, with a doorway to the left and sash windows. The southern block has three windows on its side, with central French doors beneath a continuous cornice. The eaves overhang and are supported by wooden brackets, with stacks at the rear and gable end.
