Description
This milepost, likely dating from the mid-to-late 19th century, is made of cast iron and features a black painted base with raised lettering. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered top that slopes towards the front. The top is lettered "MAER," while the left side displays "PIPEGATE 1/WOORE 2½/NANTWICH 10 ¼," and the right side shows "STONE 11."
