Description

This is a pair of gate piers from the early 19th century, constructed from ashlar and featuring a square plan. Each pier has round-headed niches on the front and rear, a moulded cornice and frieze adorned with carved coronets, and pilaster strips on each inner side that include crooks for former gates. These gate piers flank the entrance to the former drive leading to Fisherwick Hall, which has since been demolished.
