Description
Dimble House is a house built around 1770, constructed of brick with ashlar dressings. It features a hipped roof made of graduated slate and has brick stacks at each end. The building is designed in an L-shape and stands three storeys tall, with a symmetrical façade that includes three windows. The top of the house is adorned with a frieze, cornice, and parapet, along with coped gables. The entrance is framed with an architrave, frieze, and cornice, leading to a six-panel door. The windows are set with sills, and the first floor has rusticated detailing, while the second floor features windows with plain lintels above casements. At the rear, there is a later wing and a re-entrant bowed stair wing.
