Description

The mill building located to the west of Burton Mill on Newton Road dates back to the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and was originally four storeys tall with an attic, although the first floor has been removed. The building features eight segmental-headed windows fitted with multi-paned iron lights, corbelled eaves, and stone-coped gabled ends, topped with tiles. Additionally, there is a 'Sun' fire insurance plate on the building. It was formerly equipped with a mill wheel on its east side.
