Description
Wanfield Hall is a house dating from the 17th century, with later alterations and additions. It features a pebbledash exterior over brick and timber framing, and has a plain tile roof with coped verges and finials. The building includes brick external end stacks with diamond-shaped shafts. The layout consists of a two-room plan with a roughly central passage that leads from the front door to a staircase wing at the rear. The house is two storeys high with an attic and has two gabled bays. The windows are latticed casements with segmental heads, including one on the first floor to the left of centre, while the attic windows have straight heads. There is a round-headed door to the left of centre. Inside, one of the first-floor rooms features exposed square panel wall framing.
