Description
Tudor Cafe and Stores is a building from the 19th century that incorporates elements of an earlier timber frame structure. It features roughcast and painted brick, with a tiled roof. The building has a two-storey central block flanked by two-storey wings on either side. The center of the building has three sash windows and a 19th-century doorway on the left, which is adorned with a reeded architrave and a cornice hood. There is a 19th-century double shop front with glazing bars and a glazed door at the center, all beneath a cornice supported by consoles. The right bay includes a segmental carriage arch, while the left bay has two sash windows. The eaves are plain with toothed detailing. Although the interior of the original section has been significantly altered, it still retains some exposed ceiling beams.
