Description
The former cart shed, located approximately 137 metres southeast of Beamhurst Hall, is now used as stables. It dates from the early to mid 19th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The structure is built from coursed and squared large stone blocks, with some later red brickwork, and features a clay tile roof. It is a single storey building with six bays; the four bays on the right, which were originally open fronted, are now blocked and have had doors and casements inserted. There is a pitching eye on the right-hand gable. This building is included for its group value with Beamhurst Hall.
